The concept of past lives never sounded convincing to me. But, studying Evolutionary astrology, an unique approach which makes light into past energies I began to find meaning and truth in the concept.
Parents' lives are seen in the birth chart of the child. Whether we chose as souls to be born in a family that reflects our karmic story or we believe we are the genetic product of ancestors - we see two pathways of the same belief.
From my own experience and research, I am inclined to sustain that by looking at mother ( especially) and father lives before the child was born - and comparing this with the birth chart of the latter we can discover challenges and blocks that stop us from living with courage and in the present moment.
