Pluto entering Aquarius, 01/20

Travelling at the speed of Light

Keywords: power to the people, justice to the nonprivileged, revolutions, technology taking over humanity, freedom, queerness, weirdness, dissolving of boundaries of what means physical reality, robots and new types of humans, a brave new world.

Pluto Is the planet associated with the Scorpio sign. It represents powerful changes in the structure of our collective unconscious. Pluto completes a cycle around the Sun in 248 years, a time in which it traverses all the 12 zodiac signs.

Humanity is now at the threshold of the Aquarius age and it brings to an end the last twenty –centuries of the Piscean Age, which began within 100 years before the birth of Jesus.

As is always the case with new cycles, we can expect a new type of organized society over the horizons of time.

Since 2008 Pluto has been in the Capricorn sign. This sign is associated with structure, big organizations, the corporate organized world, and society's rigorous hierarchies.

From March 23rd until June 11th, 2023 Pluto changed signs, moving into Aquarius, then back into Capricorn. On January 20th, 2024 it will move again into Aquarius and, after a short break back into Capricorn between September - November this year, it will remain in Aquarius until 2043.

The last time Pluto was in Aquarius was between 1775 to 1798 (major events associated with this period were the American and French Revolutions and the beginning of the Industrial Revolution).

What can we expect from Pluto traversing the Aquarius sign?

Aquarius and its ruling planet, Uranus, are associated with revolutions that are based on an ideology of one kind or another, on an ideal of some sort. The energies contained by Aquarius are weird, original, unconventional, out of the box, flying in the face of anything that is against the established norm. In mythology, Aquarius is associated with the myth of Prometheus, the one who stole cosmic fire from the gods and gave it to human beings against the wishes of Zeus. In this way, humanity had the potential to be godlike, the potential to create their universe. The human being wants to be god, in other words. We see this more and more in the last years with the development of AI, space exploration, and actions against our planet Earth. Having the fire of knowledge humanity can create or destroy, both options are valid.

Regarding A.I. developments I find it relevant to quote this interesting paragraph from Liz Greene's book “The Art of Stealing Fire” :

“In the grip of the Uranian vision, nothing seems to matter, and individual consequences are not considered. The exhilaration of discovery obscures everything else, and usually – if not, always – the motivating spirit is altruistic and progressive. One is so busy making the ultimate omelet that one doesn’t notice that the broken eggs are screaming. Then how the discoveries are used is revealed as a horror, and the creator must live with his or her creation. Insofar, as we are all human, and share in the spirit of the age, we are all implicated, both in the creations and in how they are used. “

Few words about what to expect with Pluto in Aquarius :

1.       Normalizing A.I. as part of our lives.

2.       Huge technological advancements

3.       Power to the people. Equality in all spheres of society. Distribution of wealth. More people choosing to build their start-ups and potentialize their inner gifts

4.       Powerful changes in the structure of society, and communities for the welfare of the ordinary people taking power

5.       Gender-neutral, gender “x” babies, normalizing trans and LGBTQ2+

6.       Increase in in-vitro fertilization.

7.       Climate change crisis at its peak. Nature unleashing. Power blackouts.

8.       Space tourism travel. Introducing flying machines as a means of transport.

9.   New ways of seeing the Universe and Solar system through the discovery of, probably, other life forms in space or breaking the boundary of what we consider now our Solar system.

10.   Dissolving and reinforcement of physical, and geographical boundaries, each experienced in extremes.

At a personal level, we are required to step into an individuation process. We are asked to release believing in power to a source outside of ourselves and to believe in the power within and create our world as we want it to be.

Aquarius is the sign that prides itself on uniqueness.

“The negative way to meet the uniqueness in each other is to insist on being and remaining different from other human beings. The positive way is to insist on being ever more distinct. Distinction emphasizes form and character. Differences give rise to feelings of distance, of solitude, of fear, of incompatibility. We need to choose between becoming more distinct or more different, more single or more solitary. We become the outstanding person or the individual who feels left out. “ Dane Rudhyar
